«La ciudad donde vivimos» es un libro que toma al tango como cronista social del siglo XX y en las conversaciones entre Américo Tatián y Mariano Saravia van fluyendo los distintos temas que marcaron las sociedades a ambas márgenes del Río de La Plata.

A lo largo del libro se va desvelando la importancia social de temas como la inmigración, la política, la felicidad, la salud, los vicios, los deportes, las mujeres, entre otros, además de abordar a personajes como Carlos Gardel y Astor Piazzola, las dos grandes revoluciones del tango, que más que un género musical es una filosofía urbana que nos interpreta y nos interpela.

Hijo de armenios, oriundo de Córdoba, médico, y conductor, desde hace 28 años, de “La ciudad donde vivimos”, el programa radial sobre tango más escuchado en su provincia natal. Américo Tatian habló con el diario Armenia acerca de su historia familiar, su pasión y la clave para cautivar a su audiencia.29 ene 2015

Américo Tatián es médico neumonólogo, comunicador social y sobre todo, es experto en tango y conduce el programa radial sobre tango «La ciudad donde vivimos», desde hace más de 30 años, en Radio Universidad de Cordoba SRT.

Recordamos al economista peronista Eduardo Curia creador del plan de convertibilidad para estabilizar la hiperinflación alfonsinista luego utilizado por Domingo Cavallo sin el conocimiento técnico optimo para la aplicación en la economía nacional. Guillermo Moreno con 34 años integró el equipo económico de Curia y también fue parte del crecimiento de la década ganada. Es decir superó las dos crisis que dispararon los gobiernos socialdemócratas en las últimas décadas. En la nota de Eduardo Curia con Walter Graziano del año 1998, el economista preanuncia las consecuencias de mantener el 1 a 1 que podrían terminar en un estallido social. Prognosis que se terminó objetivando en diciembre del 2001.

OJO. Este lunes que viene, a las 18,30 de la tarde tenemos el lanzamiento del libro “Porque el cobre no es de Chile” en la Sala Máster de La U. de Chile, Miguel Claro 509, casi esquina de Eleodoro Yañez. Lo hicimos en la Librería de le Monde Diplomatic, con gran éxito. Ayer en Rancagua en la librería “Café Literario”, en que tuvimos que salir a la calle porque al interior la gente no cabía y se agotó la primera edición, hemos hecho una 2ª. Edición exprés para este nuevo lanzamiento en la Sala máster de la Radio Universidad De Chile. Creo que es algo importante donde se revela el secretismos en estas materias y se explica cómo se hace desaparecer la colosal riqueza de todos los chilenos en el cobre. Nos interesa mucho que asistas, la entrada es gratis, pero puedes informarte bien y tú, también participar y ayudarnos en la defensa de nuestra principal riqueza. Cordialmente. Jorge Lavandero

The Beats - Like Dreamers Do (''Secret'' Album)

This song is from ''The Beatles'' argentine tribute band.In this occasion The Beats rejuvenated old Lennon and McCartney compositions virtually unpublished until now, that The Beatles were never recorded. They took these songs and worked on them to recreate the style and that the four spirits of Liverpool would have given at that time,the album that contains this song is ''Secret''.

The Beats was born in 1987 thanks to its two founders, Patricio and Diego Pérez. In the year 1996, it was recognized as THE BEST BEATLE BAND IN THE WORLD by the Beatles Annual Convention from London and Liverpool. They have been praised by Allan Williams in England (first manager of the Beatles) who said: "They sounded even better than the Beatles when I took them to Hamburg" and Alistair Taylor (Brian Epstein’s personal assistant) who said: "It looks as if the Beatles were born again". Furthermore, they were recognized with important articles in the British newspapers Daily Post and Liverpool Echo. They were proud to represent Argentina once again in the "Rose Festival" in Hiroshima, Japan (Festival to commemorate the anniversary of the Atomic Bomb, May 1997), playing for ten thousand people, and appearing on television, newspapers and the radio. This Eastern tour was completed in the most important theatres in Kyoto, Ibara, Sapporo, Osaka, among others. They traveled back to England in August 1997, to launch the “Beatles Revival Show”, a show about the evolution of The Beatles represented by The Beats in the Empire Theatre of Liverpool. After the success achieved in their prior visit, they came back to Japan in October 1997 to make a one month tour travelling around Osaka, Hiroshima, Fukuyama, Ibara, Kyoto and Tokyo, performing in the most important theatres of those cities. That same year they launched the “Beatles Revival Show" in Argentina, in the “Astros Theatre” in Corrientes Avenue, using more than twenty instruments from their personal collection, original equipment and exact clothing, respecting each of the stages of the English quartet, and performing five more times, due to the request of the audience. "Here are The Beatles" was the title given to the show launched in 1998 in the “Broadway Theatre” of our capital: a complete journey throughout all the stages of the four Liverpool geniuses, respecting the same sound of the original recordings together with string and wind instruments. The same year, they were invited again as guests of honour to the "Beatles Annual Convention" of London and Liverpool performing in L.I.P.A (Sir Paul McCartney auditorium), Strawberry Fields and Liverpool Cavern Club (Mathew Street), among others, closing the year in Argentina with the show “The Beats 10 years”, in the Broadway Theatre.
